Courtney Green was formed by Nick Courtney and Steven Greenfield in 1988. We offer our clients a wide range of services including Estate Agency, Property Lettings and Block Management. We are also able to refer mortgages and related financial products to Independent Options Ltd an independent financial advisor, authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

As proud members of both The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and The Ombudsman for Estate Agents Scheme (OEA) we strictly abide by their Rules and Codes of Practice. We are also the approved agent for ‘Movewithus’ which is the largest network of Independent Estate Agents and Conveyancers in the UK with more than 1000 members, enabling us to provide an enhanced service to both our vendor clients and purchasers.

We identified early on the need to have quality staff that can fulfill our wishes to provide our clients with a service experience beyond their expectations and to offer understanding and genuine interest of their very individual needs and requirements.

Residential Sales

The residential sales department is headed by Steven Greenfield with Andrew Bowling (Residential Sales Manager) who himself has over twenty five years experience in the housing market in a senior role, alongside Sheila Poynter (Senior Negotiator/Valuer), with over twenty years experience with a long established agency. Sheila has recently been reunited with Jane Wells (Senior Negotiator/Valuer) who joins with nearly thirty years of experience in the local property market. The team is supported by Julia Cripps and Jill Simmons who each bring their own experience and enthusiasm to the team. The practice is now able to offer its clients a wealth of combined experience making it one of the most cohesive and established teams in the Horsham property market.

When prospective clients first approach Courtney Green, an appointment to visit the subject property is arranged without any obligation, and we will appraise the property for selling purposes based on comparable evidence of similar homes in the area, and we will provide marketing advice and details of the company's charges and terms of business.

Unlike some estate agents, Courtney Green does not insist that its clients enter into a contract that ties the seller in with the agency for a given period, which can sometimes be up to 16 weeks!

Thanks to advances in technology, we are now able to produce in-house extremely high quality, full colour sales particulars, which we believe are among the best in the town. Our aim is to present every property in the best way possible, so most of our details contain numerous internal photographs, some show outlooks and views from windows. Residential Lettings and Management

The lettings department is headed by Nick Courtney and his team of Jonathan Evans (Lettings Manager) along with Julie Simmonds, Carrie Nicholls, Claire Baulch, Tim Shields and with support from Tracey Rooney. Between them they effectively manage more than 400 properties across the Horsham district, from flats and houses to barn conversions and country homes. There is always a ready supply of waiting tenants but generally a shortage of available properties so if you have an empty property or if you are looking to buy somewhere as an investment, we can provide you with our comprehensive and informative “Landlords Guide”, or meet with you either at the property or at our offices, to discuss individual requirements.

Block Management

The Management Department, run by Sarah Cornelius with Nick Courtney and Tracey Rooney, provide strategic management and scheduled maintenance of numerous apartment blocks and private developments in and around the local area. We provide a dedicated and experienced solution to the needs of our clients, many of whom are resident within the buildings themselves and have been previously “let down” by their managing agents.
